Photovoltaic modules:

  • Monocrystalline modules are made from pure semiconducting silica crystals, are highly resistant, and guarantee excellent yield and a stable long-term performance
  • Polycrystalline modules are comprised of crystals the structure of which has been altered during the cooling process of the freshly cast liquid crystals into blocks. Their yield is slightly lower, but this technology will excel in terms of module longevity and long-term yield
  • Amorphous crystal modules are manufactured by applying a thin silicon crystal film onto a carrier material, like glass. Their efficiency per square unit and production price are lower
  • Bifacial modules have cells on both sides. When mounted over a light-reflecting surface, the crystals on the back of the module can increase energy production by up to 30%
